Dear Fellow Nobles,

Hope your winter was very favorable for each of you and now that Spring has sprung, you are getting some outdoor time. Winter this year was just the kind of winter we Hoosiers seem to like - short, not too cold, and not too much snow!

On April 8th we had a very successful Ceremonial. Bobbi Jo Wright, the Silent Messenger girl, was present for the Arch Degree. Hopefully you were one of the members in the audience to witness this event.

This is a very busy schedule for the Nobility this year. We suggest each Shriner attempt to participate in as many of the events as possible. Also, please remember that membership is our number 1 priority. We always need to bring another member in the fold to replace ourselves and another member to grow our membership. Keep in mind, membership is NOT just the job of the Membership Committee. Membership is the job for each and every Shriner. One can always ask a Mason to become a Shriner. The best way to get a new Shriner is to have a man become a Mason then a Shriner. Either way, we grow stronger with each new member.

As all Nobles know, the Potentate actually doesn’t get to do much of anything by himself except name the Ceremonial Class Honoree. The spring Ceremonial Class Honoree was Roger Laird from the Kosciusko County Shrine Club. Roger was the Leader of the Kosciusko County Shrine Mini-Bike Patrol for many years. He also was the quite man behind many things that the Kosciusko County Shrine Club has done for many years. He is currently the President of the Kosciusko County Shrine Club. Thank you Roger for all you have done for Shrinedom!

Yours in the Faith,

Hal Harting
