NOBLES:
September was a very busy month.
• GLSA was held in Indianapolis with the Parade
to be in Zionsville, Indiana. Several Units and Clubs
from various Temples arrived to take part of in all the
activities. However, due to the weather the Parade was
rained out.
• The Sportsmen’s Raffle was held on September
17th and was a huge success. Thanks to Steve Cowan
and his crew.
• The 1st Chili Cook-Off was held on September
24th at the Horse Grounds and was attended by many
who really enjoy cooking and eating the Chili. Thank
You!
• Lastly the Fish Fry are getting bigger and
better. There are two left for this year (October and
November). If elected, Hal Harting has indicated that
he will have continue the Fish/Tenderloin Fries. It has
been a wonderful way for our Nobles and Friends to
be together. And it gives all Nobles a chance to bring
and promote friends to the Temple and thus they may
become Shriners.
I will do my best to keep everyone updated on the
events that will take place before the end of the year,
through the Allah-Bi, postcards to the Units/Clubs
President and/or Secretaries and by a Phone Blast. You
can help, contact your Nobles friends asking them to
attend a meeting or a social event. There will not be an
Allah-Bi in November.
By the time you read this article we will have elected
a new Recorder to finish out 2016. Congratulations
to the new Recorder. Of course there will be another
election in December for the 2017 Divan.
In another article in this Allah-Bi you will notice we
have had a change in our Temple Office Staff. Good
Luck Karen in your new venture. I want to be the first
Noble of Mizpah to say “We are sad to see you leave,
your service to the Children of the Shrine and the
Mizpah Shrine have not gone unnoticed.”
Nobles stop in and welcome the new Recorder and
new Staff member.

With the election for a new Recorder, I feel it is
necessary to mention a few facts to the Nobility. You
might not have been aware that Past Potentate Ellis
Ryan MSA, has assisted the past Recorder and the
Divan since January 2016. A THANK YOU seems so
little for so much service and assistance.
